The Regional Director Africa is at the helm of one of FSC’s most dynamic regions for growth and engagement, representing both challenges and tremendous opportunities. The African continent boasts a thriving forest industry, but awareness and uptake of sustainable development practices, including FSC certification, remains low. As Regional Director Africa, it will be your job to realize the potential, working with forest owners, businesses, governments, and other stakeholders to create solutions for the region that foster economic growth, improve livelihoods, and build a sustainable future.
