The joint control measures project for Central Europe has been developed to provide support to national organizations to mitigate specified risks identified by the Centralised National Risk Assessment (CNRA), which is essential for conducting the Due Diligence System in order to meet the requirement of the FSC Standard on Requirements for Sourcing FSC Controlled Wood (FSC-STD-40-005 V3-1).

The first country for which this project is initiated is Slovakia.

The consultation is open from 13th March 2018 – 31st March 2018.

You have the possibility to comment on the risk designations as well as on the control measures, including their effectiveness, adequacy and efficiency in mitigating risks. Additionally, we encourage you to suggest additional control measures with references to specific examples and conditions, if possible.

Participate in the consultation here (you would need to register and/or login to the FSC Consultation Platform first to access the consultation).
