Why now?
On 23 January 2017, a group of stakeholders representing economic, environmental, and social interests met in Bonn, Germany to form a working group to formulate a set of voluntary control measures that are appropriate for Central Europe. You can find the concept paper for the joint control measures project here.
This work has continued since the meeting, and FSC will hold a public consultation on the outcome to ensure an open process and complete view of the situation.
The consultation will be held from 5 to 24 March 2018 on the FSC Consultation Platform.
